Quote for the Week

As the Founding Fathers knew well, a government that does not trust its honest, law-abiding, taxpaying citizens with the means of self-defense is not itself worthy of trust. Laws disarming honest citizens proclaim that the government is the master, not the servant, of the people.

Quote for the Week

This battle for 'common-sense' gun control laws pits emotion and passion against logic and reason. All too often in such a contest, logic loses. So, expect more meaningless, if not harmful, 'gun control' legislation. Good news - if you're a crook.

Quote for the Week

And that's really what's happening in this country is a violation of the First Commandment. We have become a country entrenched in idolatry, and that idolatry is the dependency upon our government. We're supposed to depend upon God for our protection and our provision and for our daily bread, not for our government.

Our country, right or wrong.  When right to be kept right; when wrong to be put right.

Government Knows Best

Remember when the Dept. Of Homeland Security labeled gun owners, preppers, gun rights supporters, etc... as right wing extremists?

Well now, we hear of training being provided to Army Reservists.  In it, they lump Evangelical Christians, Catholics, and some Jews into the same category as the Ku Klux Klan and Al Qaeda.

But I wouldn't worry about it.  Surely, they mean no harm.  Our government loves everyone, right?  They won't harm us, right?

In a few days, they'll say it was all a mistake, not approved, and we shouldn't worry about it.

So let's not worry.

Keep it moving.  Nothing to see here.  Go back to sports and reality TV.
