I'm not 19 anymore.

Last Sunday, I decided to play basketball with some friends at the church picnic.  Shortly after starting the third game, I came down a little off balance and sprained my ankle.  For a brief moment I was able to see into the depths of the universe.  Or maybe it just felt that way.  I saw stars, the moon, and several other things I couldn't identify.

I hobbled off the court and limped back to the picnic tables.  Thankfully, nothing was broken, although it appears to have been a grade two sprain.  The ankle is still a bit tender, but most of the swelling has gone down.  I can't wait to get back to working out, but will now have to consider a brace that will handle all the bouncing and jumping around.

Glad to see you are smart enough to recognize the need for a brace.

I hope you are smarter than some people (not saying who but he is writing this) and continue to use the ankle brace - All the time when you are working out or playing sports.

Some people (not saying who but he is writing this) may think "Oh, my ankle is healed up, I can go back to playing volleyball without the brace now".

Some people were really wrong!

Hope you recover quickly

Bob, thanks for the confirmation. I wasn't sure if I was overreacting, but as I become more active, I don't want to reinjure it. Right now, I'm researching the options to see what is available.

I'll see if I can find mine and get the company name but I really like it.

It has two elastic and hook&loop straps on it that wrap around the ankle. Lets me adjust where the support goes and how tight it is.

I think it is a Futuro brand but I'm not sure.

Ah, don't sweat it. The world ends in 24 hours, you know?

Anon: Any suggestion would be great! Thanks!

Ed: Now that's funny.
