Shooting to Wound

"You're only going to shoot to hurt someone, right?"

"You don't really want to kill anyone, do you?"

"Why don't you just aim for the arm or leg or something?"

I get those questions all the time.  I could, of course, write an answer here, but I won't.

Someone else has done a much better job answering the question.  Listen to me.  Put down the bagel.

Brigid's post is titled:

If you or a loved one read any post this month, read this one.

She is oh-so-on-the-money.

Seriously.  Her post is an eye-opener, and unlike anything you will read here, could keep you from making a huge mistake.

You must take the time to read it.

If you are not 100% legally and morally justified in killing somebody, you have no business pointing a gun at them.

You are absolutely correct. No matter how you spin it, there is no way to get around the fact that a gun is a deadly weapon.

Thanks for stopping by!
