Note to Self

Well, my wife's been out of town for about a week. It's been the girls and me.

Honey, if you are reading this, just know that things are going great! The house is impeccably clean and we are all behaving well. You can stop reading now and go back to enjoying your time. See you in a couple of days!

Is she gone?

I was cleaning out my office and saw an old CRT monitor that I needed to throw away. I also saw an old BB-rifle leaning against the wall. I looked behind me at the length of the hallway...

Should you ever have the desire to shoot BBs into an old computer monitor, please control the urge. If you have limited self-control for these things, note that CRT monitors are realtively sturdy. If the rifle is not pumped to full power, the BBs could ricochet back and break something. Also note that if your eyesight is not keen enough to see the richocheting BB, you will have no idea what you just broke, although you will hear it. Moreover, note that you will spend a considerable amount of time trying to locate what you just cracked.

However, if you cannot locate the damaged item, rest assured that your spouse will. She will do so the moment she walks in the door.

Have handy explanation ready.
